There was a Thai restaurant in Santa Barbara and I loved Mark very much. Let's say that was our favorite spot. Zen Yai. Delicious food, nice atmosphere and memorable conversations.
The only problem? Close early in the evening (yes yes before the others already closed early). A couple of times we tried to introduce post-cinema (to 9) or later anyway, but there were no saints.

The only defect? It used to close early at night (yes, yes, earlier than the usual early SB closure). A couple of time we tried to show up after the movie (around 9) but they did not accommodate us. Today I discovered that, non only they started offering lunches, but that from Thursday to Saturday, from 11 to 2.30 pm, Zen Yai transforms itself in the Blue Owl and offers late dinners. Next time we'll visit SB we'll definitely try the side menu.
